Carers Week
Carers Week is taking place across the UK from Monday 8th to Sunday 14th June 2026.
Carers Week (8th – 14th June) is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don’t see themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.
This year’s theme is ‘Building Carer Friendly Communities’. We are asking everyone to help us raise awareness of carers and to thank them for the invaluable role they carry out.
We are pleased to announce that we will be joined by several organisations and our Carer Friendly Devon supporters this year.
We are busy organising events and information stands across Devon for this year’s Carers Week, watch this space and our social media for up-to-date information!
