Cooking time: 10 minutes


225g plain flour 
2tsp baking powder
2tsp sugar 
1tsp salt 
2tbsp oil 
100ml water 


Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

Stir in oil & water.

Bring to a dough and knead slightly on floured board.

Leave the dough to stand covered for 10 minutes.

Heat up a frying pan.

Split into 5 balls. Roll each ball out flat.

Dry fry each bread on both sides until bubbles appear (this should take a few minutes on each side).

Tip: add any dried herbs you might have to hand.

These simple flat bread are nice with soup or just for dipping into hummus.
